Missions Churches
We have five (5) mission sites. We place each mission with a mother church in the United States. FHN has also provided five (5) water wells with the help of five (5) local churches. We provide safe drinking water to over 5000 families. The Muslims in the villages have built water wells at each mosque and only provide water for those who are Muslim.
 | Trace Creek Baptist Mission
The mission is located in Mayuge District in the village of Ntafungirwa. At the mission there is a primary school with an enrollment of 370 students. There is a 10,000 liter water tank with a submergeable pump that takes care of 2600 familes in the immediate area. There are no boreholes around this village that are working; they have collapsed. The school employs 12 national teachers, 3 cooks, 1 security guard. We are also implementing a forestry project and a concrete block making project for the pastor. The church congregation is approximately 325 members and growing. We run a bus ministry here at this mission for about 125 children every Sunday. There is a discipleship program, various bible studies and a School of the Bible. The school of the Bible consists of 6 pastors and 6 associates supported by North Alabama Christian College and churches in the Huntsville, Alabama area. This mission is mothered by Trace Creek Baptist Church in Mayfield, Kentucky. Pastor Paul Weni is the pastor at the mission and a staff member of Filling His Nets. Associate Pastor is Daniel Taligoola and also the Christian Leadership Director of all the mission schools. Paul Weni is the principal of the school. |
 | Sedalia Baptist Mission The mission is located in Mayuge District in the village of Buwaaya. IIt has a primary school with the enrollment of 180 students. The school employs 5 qualified teachers, 2 cooks. Borehole (water well) has been dug. The acreage is about 18 acres at this location and houses also a piggery, pastor's house, school buildings which are grass huts until a permanent structure is built. The pastor's projects include farming - maize and raising pigs. There are approximately 195 members at this mission. This mission is mothered by Sedalia Baptist Church in Sedalia, Kentucky. Pastor Paul Bagoole is the pastor of the mission and principal of the school. |
 | Enon Baptist Mission This mission is located in Mayuge District in the village of Wairama. It has a primary school with the enrollment of 60 students. A borehole takes care of 600 families in this village. There is approximately 19 acreas to this location. There are 1 cook, 3 teachers employed. There is a newly built kitchen. The church itself has been totally renovated with new windows, doors, a concrete floor, a baptistry, and a 4 hole latrine. The pastor's bi-vocational projects are farming pigs, concrete block making. There are approsimately 110 members that attend Enon Baptist Mission. This mission is mothered by Enon Baptist Church of Wingo, Kentucky. This mission is located in a strong Muslim community. Pastor David Bagye is the pastor at Enon Baptist Mission and principal of the school. |
No Image Yet | Olive Branch Baptist Mission It is located in Mayuge District in the village of Munyonyi. There is 14 acres to this mission. Also a primary school that has an enrollment of 70 children. The church is now a pavillion but Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Madisonville, Kentucky has given money to construct a permanent church and pastor's house. There is approximately 155 members and is growing. The pastor has a bivocational project of farming including maize and rice. A borehole is being constructed and the last touches are being done to finish up the borehole. This borehole will take care of 850 families in the area. Pastor Grissom is the pastor of the mission and principal of the school. |
 | Busowobi Baptist Mission (soon to be Poplar Spring Baptist Mission) This mission is located in Iganga District in the village of Busowobi. This mission has approximately 8+ acres. There is a primary school with around 140+ children. The borehole here helps 615 families with safe drinking water. The mission has a congregation of 155 members. This mission is a clapboard and mud structure with a tin roof. The school is a pavillion. Poplar Spring Baptist Church in Murray, Kentucky is mothering this mission and will be providing a church structure, pastor's house and a school building. The men of Poplar Spring Baptist Church in Murray, KY will be coming in 2006 to help the nationals build this new church. This mission is located in deep Muslim community. The pastors bi-vocational project is tailoring. Pastor Fred Musisi sews all FHN school uniforms. Pastor Fred is the principal of the school also. |
