Embracing the Children It is better to give... Sponsor a Child Change a Life TODAY! Children of Uganda do not have the opportunities that children in the United States or many other countries take for granted. Schools are not readily available and if so, must be paid for. Muslims control most schools. Muslim schools are free of charge to anyone; provided the parents of the child become a Muslim. Once the children have 'enrolled' in the Muslim schools, and the parents forced to become a Muslim, both are indoctrinated into Islam and will likely be a Muslim for the rest of their life. Filling His Nets Ministry provides schools to the Ugandan population for a small fee that many cannot pay. However, parents are not required to 'become a Christian' as a stipulation of education. We feel that once exposed to the Love and Gospel of Jesus Christ, a natural progression will take place. The children upon hearing the Gospel of Christ will likely accept Him as their personal Savior. In turn, after seeing the transformation of their children, parents will become curious and eventually be drawn to the love of Christ and will also accept Him as their Savior. Filling His Nets Ministry currently has 5 mission schools with approximately 750 students. Our curriculum consists of 5 subjects that include basic primary education as well as the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, the schooling of these children does not come without cost. Filling His Nets Ministry is currently absorbing the cost of the school for the students currently enrolled. We are at a crucial point! Our schools are overflowing, but due to a lack of funds, children who want to attend must be turned away. Recently 253 students at all 5 mission schools were turned away because they could not pay. Without funding, accepting students whose parents are not able to pay would deplete the funding necessary to provide adequate services to the existing students. The Children Need Your Help!!!
